I have taken the reigns as President of Columbia Cash Home Buyers and Lucas Properties both based in Columbia, SC. Most recently I was the general manager of the Inn at USC where I was named the 2016 Lodging Manager award.
With more than 10 years of experience in real estate I’ve gained specialties in community re-development and property management. I focus on bringing decades of hospitality experience and customer service acumen to the home buying process. We are lifelong residents of Columbia and know that southern hospitality still rules here.
Over the years, Lucas properties has grown to dozens of rentals and multiple renovations each year. Columbia Cash Home Buyers specializes in buying distressed properties. We then return them to the community or investors as fully repaired homes for rent or purchase. Our goal is to provide homeowners a quick, and fair option to their house selling needs. We also provide safe, secure, updated, and economical homes for our Soda City neighbors to lease.
Currently, Columbia Cash Home Buyers is seeking homes in Columbia, Lexington, Cayce, West Columbia, Hopkins, Eastover, and all surrounding areas. The typical home that they purchase may need extensive repairs or quick sale, so they purchase As-Is and with cash.
Giving back to our community is important to our family as well as the business. I currently serve as the Vice Chair of the Palmetto Health Foundation Children’s Hospital Board, a member of the Historic Columbia Board of Advocates, and Associate Deacon at First Baptist Church. Very recently I served as the President of the Columbia chapter of SC Restaurant and Lodging Association and member of the Governors Task Force for Emergency Housing.
When its time to relax, I find there are many ways enjoy my Famously Hot Columbia, SC. We have our SEC football, boiled peanuts, plenty of history and other local activities to keep me busy. Even though my home city is great, my family loves to travel and sampling the local food wherever we go.
I am always open to new ideas, speaking engagements, consulting, or great conversation. Reach out! My “door” is always open. I particularly enjoy any chance I get to share my successes and lessons with my fellow millennials.
